ACAIA Calibration Weight (500g)

This 500g weight is the only way to truly "zero out" your setup, ensuring every gram measured is exactly what it claims to be. It comes with a high-quality protective case to keep it clean and damage-free, which is crucial for maintaining its exact weight over time.

Although the higher end Acaia scales come with a calibration weight, this is a good add-on for the Pearl and other scales that require calibration. It might be too heavy to calibrate a jewelry scale I have, so just consider that if you're choosing between the 100g and 500g. From my poking about, it actually seems like a good price for what's available commercially.

This product has a premium build and includes a sturdy carrying case. I bought it to keep my Acaia scale calibrated… as others have said, it doesn’t make sense to buy a premium scale if it doesn’t stay accurate. I deducted one star due to the expensive price.

Nice addition to my expresso equipment, though was surprised I would need to recalibrate the Acaia scale. Periodically check the scale now, which had drifted over the first couple of years by 1 gram for the portafilter (~520g).

If you are spending the money on the scale the extra dollars for the weight are worth it. It would be a shame to be using a high end scale that is not calibrated properly. Build quality is high (as expected) and comes with carry case. Buy them at the same time and it will feel more justified :D

It is... a fancy weight to calibrate your scale! Apparently you need one with any scale, but it left me wondering if I could have bought a cheaper one. Anyway, this one comes with a nice protective case and the weight inside the case feels about as heavy as the scale itself, so you might want to get a 100g calibration weight if you plan to travel with it.

Don't buy any Acaia scale without getting one of these weights. By design you'll need a "calibration weight" to keep your scales measuring your ingredients as accurately as possible. ALL scales need to be recalibrated from time to time. If you've invested in top shelf scales, why wonder if it's measuring out your ingredients as precisely as it's been designed to ? You'll be delighted and confident each time you unzip the case and use it.

If you invested in an expensive very accurate scale like Acaia Pearl, you have to keep it calibrated. It came with a very nice case. High quality of the weight.

I waited a long time for these to be back in stock, but it was worth the wait.
Excellent quality weight and it comes with a really nice storage case.
