ACAIA Pearl Digital Scale

Love the scale and it’s efficiency. Delivery guy was unreal and so helpful! Would order again and make coffee for delivery guy anytime.

The ACAIA is a responsive and precise scale. Although this may not apply to everyone but it's worth saying if it does to you. I have used it outdoors for my mobile coffee cart and because it's so responsive and sensitive, any wind or movement around it makes it hard to use. Inside, it's a dream!

Great scale and accuracy! Loved its flow meter. Only wish was for a few more buttons or interactable points to adjust settings.

Acaia is the best coffee scale ever. There is no question about it. This version 2021 is even better and allow you to see in real time the flow rate. I own timemore scale and hario however, acaia is the best one so far! Precise and fast!

Takes a bit of time to learn all the settings but very responsive.

It has become a staple in my house for weighing anything. Even outside of coffee. Cooking, baking, etc. Expensive but it has paid for itself in use.

It’s a little expensive but worth it. I purchased this one for its many features, including the ability to switch between grams and ounces. Most brew guides are in grams but the occasional one will be in ounces. I don’t follow the flow rate but I consistently use the timer and tare function. The battery also seems to last for hella long (I’ve only had to charge it twice in the last year). The only downside is that the button patterns get confusing so it is handy to keep the manual close by if doing something outside your usual routine.

It’s tried and tested now. Nothing to not like about it.

This scale has been a massive upgrade from the amazon basics scale I've been using for the last few months. Extremely well built and quick to respond. The size of the scale is perfect for pour overs and comes with enough features to be helpful without becoming to complex to navigate. I also appreciate that it comes out of the box with a pre-applied film to protect the top of the scale.

After researching different brands, our son-in-law had this scale on his Christmas wish list. Ordered online and it arrived promptly. Son-in-law loves it!

The scale is very responsive compared to my old hario drip scale.

It looks great and is I think it is an “end game” scale if all you plan on doing is pour over. I don’t use the advanced functions and find the mode with weight, time, and flow rate to be the most useful.

We use this scale in a salon environment! It has been amazing. Super precise. I also love that it’s rechargeable!

acaia excellent scale

Love that the scale is USB-C and has a battery that lasts hours. Not as simple to get started than I thought it would be but a quick glace at the instruction manual resolved all my issues. Bluetooth seems nice on paper but the apps offered left to be desired. Saw that there are ways to integrate the scale to your own apps so I might just do that as a fun weekend side-project one day.

After owning an Acaia Pearl for three years, I purchased this one for my daughter. I am serious about my coffee and the fact that this scale is designed for coffee aficionados made it a perfect fit for me. It is both quick and accurate, plus it looks great.

Fast reading and reliable. The new improvements made the scale even better, USB-C and the flow tracking are welcome additions.

Overall very good, it took me a few tries to get used to how responsive it is to changes in weight!

I had the original version of this, sold it got the entry hario and timemore ones afterwards but went back to this. This just works for my worflow (particularly pour over), so all i can say is if you do pour over this is the scale to go for. It’s simple to use, can time while pour and more importantly is precise.

It’s expensive but if you want accurate pour over, it’s the way to go.

My old scale was the Hario Metal Drip Scale and it was definitely not my favourite because the buttons were always so unresponsive and it drove me crazy. The Pearl 2021 has worked flawlessly so far. I wanted the white scale (would show less fingerprints) but ordered the Black for readability sake. I just wish the apps (Acaia coffee and Brewmaster) were better designed to go along with the scale as each app has its pros and cons. The Pearl's screen protector is easily scratched would be a small negative.

I love this for its accuracy and clean look.

The black looks really sharp and the multiple modes built in are great for timing pour overs and dosing coffee accurately.

There are apps you can use with the scale to get extra nerdy data if you like that kinda thing.

It is a bit pricey, but overall an excellent investment for any kitchen and the built in rechargeable battery lasts a long time even with daily use multiple times per day.
