ACAIA Pearl Heat Resistant Pad

It works as it should.

After a month of not using the pad of 2 years in a commercial setting, our old pad started to develop some sort of sticky oily texture. We could not wash it off and it just started to get all over our hands.

Had to get replacements, wish it wasn't so expensive for such a small item.

Exactly what you'd expect.

A must have accessory for the Acaia Pearl S. The small silicone mat that comes with the scale is far too small and this feel like it is what the scale should have shipped with. It provides good coverage, allowing a wide variety of brewers/cups to be place there. This is a no brainer to protect a very expensive investment. Silicone is also going to insulate and protect the scale from heat. All in all I am happy with my purchase. I do wish this came with the scale by default though. As an added bonus, if you buy the case for the Pearl, this packs nicely and fits into the case along with the scale.

Simple and fits the Acaia Pearl S perfectly, much better than the round rubber pad that comes with the scale.

Fits the Acaia pearl perfectly and is great as a replacement option if you happen to lose or damage your original rubber pad.

It fits perfectly and works very well.

Decent quality but overpriced imo. Been using for a week and so far hasn’t collected any dust or lint like most silicone parts do. Wish it came with my Acaia pearl S automatically instead of the small rounded one which requires precise placement from a chemex or anything with wide base

I have the Acaia Pearl S, but don't like the included heat resistant pad. This one covers a larger area and is always aligned thanks to the edge.

The included heat pad works and is great for pour-over containers, but this is a must have for portafilters and larger surface to measure things on.

This pad is awesome! Stays in place, thick, and protects my Acai scale.
Much better than the small round disc that came with scale. Worth every penny!.

Fits perfectly on a pearl model s. Great addition to give that extra layer of protection when making your filtered coffee.

Scale also does not add it to weight therefore doesn't require you to tare.

This product is much thicker than the included disc with a higher surface area as well. When you flip it over, the shape and rigid structure support portafilters on the scale as well. Definitely worth the added price given the investment made in the scale itself.

Acaia recommends using this if you put hot products on your scale, protects the inner workings. Thicker and much larger than the small included disc that comes with the scale. Small price to pay for protecting your investment, too bad its an add-on though. Should have been included with the scale.
