I looked at some third-party brands before ordering this, but reviews on them were often critical of a poor fit. You really want the cap to fit properly. This was identical to what came with my Aeropress originally.

Thank goodness for Eight Ounce Coffee!

I must have accidentally thrown out my Aeropress filter cap because it disappeared one day. I ordered an Amazon replacement but it was terrible and didn't fit at all (I should have known). The version sold by Eight Ounce Coffee arrived quickly and works perfectly with my Aeropress. As another reviewer said, your company is definitely filling an important need - thank you!
