  • A PREMIUM FILTER FOR YOUR AEROPRESS

Take your AeroPress brewing up a notch with V2 of Aesir's premium AeroPress filters! The original Aesir filters were developed as Eldric Kuzma was preparing for the 2016 Canadian AeroPress Championship. The result of extensive testing of a range of types of paper to find one that makes the best possible cup of coffee, these new filters have a small pore size that makes for a full-bodied cup with less sediment, giving you a noticeably cleaner and more vibrant coffee.

Aesir Filters are a premium option for the AeroPress coffee brewer; using high quality paper, the result is a coffee that is cleaner, brighter, more full bodied with less sediment and bitterness. For the coffee shop that wants to present the best possible coffee to their customers or for the home brewer who is dedicated to chasing the perfect brew.

Premium thick filters praised for delivering "cleaner" and brighter coffee with improved clarity. Customers said these eliminate the need for double-filtering and provide better taste than standard options. Most love the quality, though some note increased pressing resistance and one reported V2 durability concerns. A few mentioned higher cost and China manufacturing.

Thicker than aeropress og filter

Thick and doesn't affect the flow rate much, got a clean and more balanced cup out of this filter!

Wow

I was skeptical whether these filters would make any sort of noticeable different in my Aeropress brew. My skepticism was unfounded because these are really great filters. Truly cleans up the brew in a noticeable way. Brighter, more clarity and definition in the tasting notes. Very worth it!!!!

A different kind of brew

These paper filters are very thick and will render a very different kind of brew. I alternate between these, the regular papers and also a metal filter depending on the beans and the body that I'm looking for.

Several web sites recommend 3 regular filters for the Aeropress, but three regular filters don’t fit mine. The AESIR filter is thicker than my regular filter and it fits my Aeropress. But that’s not all; the AESIR filter makes my coffee taste significantly better! It’s so good I purchased AESIR filters for my relatives who use Aeropress for their coffee. ‘Highly recommended!

This filter is a genuine step up for my Aeropress Go Plus coffee! I read somewhere using more than three filters smooths out the flavor but I couldn’t fit them in my Aeropress. This filter is significantly thicker and denser than regular filters, yet fits perfectly and does the job. ‘Highly recommended!

Thick paper!

I like this filter better than the aeropress! With the aeropress filter I have to use 2 filters because it starts dripping right away. I find the quality way better with the aesir filter.

Thick Filters

These filters are significantly thicker than the first party aeropress filters. If you follow any aeropress recipes that suggest doubling the filter, you won't need to with these. The thickness does also effect the flow rate when pressing, it will provide more pressing resistance.

Overall, I think it does lead to a bit of a cleaner cup, but it doesn't seem to do too much to harm the body of the cup that I personally aim for when brewing the areopress.

Great filter for the aeropress

Filters work great, I know some review suggested a noticeable difference between these and the standard filters. I am not that level of coffee expert, but it certainly makes a mean brew. Would purchase again.

These Things Really Work.

Total no-brainer for bringing Aeropress coffee to the next level. Haven't tried for darker roasts yet but they scream quality in the cup.

A must have for the Aeropress

Top notch paper filters for the Aeropress. Just pre-wet the filters and it brews a very clean cup. Once the pile is done I'll order some more!

Nice filters (with reservations)

I've had the older AESIR filters and never had an issue. The batch that received of the V2 seem to be less strong. I use over the metal Prismo disk and have been noticing the fibers pulling or almost tearing near the center which has never happened with past or standard AP filters.

Better filter then AeroPress

I used to get muddy water look from the original aeropress filter. The Aesir thick filter makes the coffee looks better and taste.
I would get 300 pack instead of the 100. It's a better deal.

Bought for travel

Bought these ahead of my travels knowing I would be using Aeropress for my daily brews and they did not disappoint. As promised, there was an improvement in clarity and I will probably opt to use these moving forward.

Clean taste

Love the increased clarity from these filters. The improved cost now that they are in packs of 300 is appreciated. However, it might be in my imagination but they seem thinner now than when I first started purchasing these several years ago.

Cool for pro recipies

I wanted to replicate some recipes I saw from the world Aeropress championships. I think I saw this in Wendelien van Bunnik's recipe first. Very cool, and different than standard papers. Cool thing to try.
