The flow rate is low

The flow rate is low, not sure if it's the problem of the hoop brewer or this paper.. or both

Frustrated with these filters

These stock Hoop filters have such a slow flow rate that I actually can barely grind course enough on an EK. After I bought these I realized Scott Rao is selling custom filters made by Next Level Brewing that have much faster flow rate allowing a finer grind and more extraction. I’d actually like to return these filters as they won’t get used. Hoop has a great brewer but dropped the ball on their filters.
