Ethica's Oscar Riascos is a Washed Castillo lot from Finca La Macarena in Piendamó, Cauca, Colombia. Located near advanced processing facilities, producer Oscar Riascos utilizes scientific methods to refine his harvest, resulting in a savory and sweet profile featuring unique notes of carrot cake and rosemary anchored by a rich panela sweetness.
Ethica Coffee Roasters is a Toronto-based roastery inspired by Spinoza’s philosophy of aligning actions with reason and virtue. They emphasize ethical sourcing, transparency, and a deep respect for the human element in coffee production. Operating out of an industrial setting in Toronto, the team uses a Giesen W6A to highlight the natural beauty and farmer’s story behind every small-batch roast.
