Picked up this slide lid for my spouse and it’s great. Only thing is that we noticed that it has a little rattle. I have a black one when they first released the lid and mine doesn’t have that sound. The lid still has the best seal when closed but the rattle is a tiny bit annoying.

The original Carter Slide lid stopped sealing property due to the plastic gradually breaking apart after using almost everyday for the last 3 years. This appears to be an upgrade version of the old one, it slides smoother and seems to seal better. My coffee is still piping hot after 2 hours, and warm enough to drink even after 7~8 hours(iykyk, parents). Ordered from BC and came within a few days. Thanks Eight Ounce for carrying the lids and for fast shipping!

I love the Carter Slide Mug and was happy to find a replacement lid after my original broke. It fit perfectly and worked well at first, but this one has already broken too. I’m not hard on it and haven’t had this issue with other brands like Contigo or Yeti. Great design on the mug, but breaking twice likely means its a product error, which is frustrating given how much I like the mug itself.

These were out of stock for ages! When they finally came back in, I bought a couple to swap out my straw lids. Don't get me wrong, I love the straw lids too, but these are for sipping and traveling. Mine have never leaked!

Looks great but was under the impression it would fit my original Carter mug.

My favourite lid for the Fellow travel mug. The threads started to break off my original lid after around 4 years of use. Hoping this lid lasts just as long if not longer.

A great addition to the Fellow Move mug, especially useful for drinking while driving. It keeps coffee hot and doesn’t leak. I have found that the plastic seems brittle and chips easily.

I’m so happy that eight ounce coffee sells this lid separately from the mug. Fits perfectly with my Fellow Carter Move mug. Great!

This was an interesting iteration of fellow carter cap for their thermos, my wife wanted something that she can use while driving so we wanted to give this one a try. Since she drink mostly milk drinks so cleaning it become an outmost priority, if not then there will be lingering flavor from previous drink. First one need to be aware that you need to take this apart in order to clean it properly, the spring and every single part of it. However, soon we discovered that it's not really possible to remove all the lingering smell/taste due to it's construction.

Second, this is somewhat water tight, as in if you accidentally tilt it, it won't spill. It's not so water tight that you can put in your bag/handbag and forget bout it, since it will spill out and make a mess for sure!

Third, it's not something you can easily open when one hand. You certainly can, but it takes some effort and attention, so something harder to do while driving

I finally decided to pick this up and I’m glad I did. Having to twist off the original lid on my Fellow Carter Move wasn’t convenient when you are on the go. This made it easier to use for sure!!

This is a great accessory to the thermos for car rides - especially for the driver, allowing for fuss-free sipping. Like all fellow products the design is functional and beautiful.

Fits the line of Carter Move mugs perfect, hasn't leaked on me when closed so far, even when dropped on the floor! A bit harder to clean compared to the other lids because of the moving parts, but really not too bad once you know how. Minus one star because the piston mechanism is a little hard to grab and turn sometimes when doing a full clean

Lid is great. Leakproof, looks great, and the coffee doesn't come out quickly so I don't pour it onto my self in the car.

I think the design could be more simple. however, the opening and closing function has a nice feel and I hope it lasts. Also, it is totally leak proof.

I love the fellow carter move mugs, but sometimes I found it a bit unconvenient that I had to use a second hand to twist open the lid before being able to drink from it. This was accentuated when I was travelling with it. This lid completely solves this issue! I like that this is a slide and lock mechanism and they that makes it easier to drink from the fellow carter. I've seen that some people have had some minor spillage using the lid, but I have yet to experience that yet, as I usually have my mug kept upright at all times (on desks, in waterbottle compartments of bags/backpacks). I was also pleasantly surprised that it came with instructions to take the entire lid apart and clean the components - ususally slide and locks don't, which can result in build up.
