First off, they are well-crafted, and lightweight without feeling unduly fragile. That said, they’re glass, and, light or heavy, class will still break on a fall to a hard floor. But, what makes these nice is that they are light enough to be easy to manage, large enough to be very useful, and small enough that they don’t use up too much scarce storage space in a small kitchen.very happy!

Great, perfect size for prep

These are beautifully delicate and a treat to use. I'm certain they won't take a knock of any type without breaking, so I suggest using them before pulling the cork on your wine bottle. The triple set of Hario mixing bowls that 8OZ sells are many times more robust but are obviously designed for another purpose. If and when they break I won't replace them but I'll enjoy using them until they do.

Very high quality glass that is thin and very light. Fairly small sizes so don't expect to be mixing too much in them. Very nice addition to any kitchen.
