measure spoon portion scoop

This stainless steel measuring scoop is praised for its quality construction and attractive matte finish. Customers said it's "beautifully made" with excellent build quality. It holds 15-20g of coffee beans, perfect for pour-over brewing. However, some noted it's heavier than plastic alternatives, with balance concerns and potential for scratching canisters.

Beautifully made scoop

This little scoop is beautifully made. So why don't I love it like I love my other Hario products?

1. The scoop is quite heavy. After years of using the plastic scoops that come with the Hario V60, the weight of the stainless scoop took me by surprise.
2. The gap in the handle throws me off. I can't find a way to hold the scoop so that it achieves that lovely sense of balance that the plastic scoops have.
3. I worry that the rim will scratch my canisters.

It’s a scoop!

It does the job, and is of a good size. Most coffee scoops I’ve looked at are designed for ground coffee and are tiny, but this one scoops out 15 to 20g depending on the beans, and is just right for pouring into the grinder without spillage. Which is perfect first thing in the morning.

Great little scoop

Purchased to replace the white plastic one that came with the Hario pour over coffee maker. The metal has a nice matte black finish, looks great!

Nice scoop

Pretty and sturdy. The right amount for one mug of pour over.

The perfect scoop

Using it for single dose of pour over. Dont even have to use a scale for that part anymore !

Good looking scoop

A scoop is a scoop, does it's job and also looks good! The finish of the scoop is of excellent quality. Matches the goose neck kettle if you are planning to get the set.
