If you are used to making a pot of coffee even when you want just a cup, then this great little brewer may well be your saviour. Arguably the most popular manual brew method over the past decade, the HARIO V60-02 is a reimagining of the classic cone dripper. There are as many opinions on brew method as there are baristas but, once you have found your favourite, this is one of cheapest and most effective ways to make great coffee at home.

This method, paired with the appropriate filters, is ideal for making single cups of coffee directly into the mug - you can make up to 16oz in one brew - and ensures that you only make the coffee that you need. It's simple to use, easy to clean and, as long as you have good coffee, may make you put your coffee machine away for good.

This HARIO V60 is ceramic (prettier and better at retaining heat), but it is also available in clear plastic (BPA-free and shatter resistant), heatproof glass or in metal with a variety of finishes. Whichever you choose, your days of old, microwaved coffee could be over.

This ceramic pour-over dripper "makes amazing coffee" with excellent heat retention and beautiful color options. Customers praise its quality, ease of cleaning, and aesthetic appeal. Some note it requires preheating and is heavier than plastic versions, which can make handling during brewing slightly challenging. Overall highly recommended for pour-over enthusiasts.

A ceramic Hario brewer is a great addition to my morning routine

A ceramic Hario brewer is a great addition to my morning routine. I am very partial to this colour, and will be interested to see if the ceramic delivers a different result to the plastic brewers. The bottom diameter is a bit wider than the plastic versions, so the fit on my carafe is a bit tighter. But it's all good.

This is a classic and a great "gateway" piece of equipment for getting more into coffee brewing. I prefer the ceramic over the plastic because of its ability to retain heat a bit better. Use a goose neck kettle with this and a nice glass carafe and you're off and running!

Classic!

Only thing I take issue with is that it is a little more work to preheat than the plastic version. Otherwise makes amazing coffee

Oil Green
Works great

It's exactly what you think it is, and works great! The Oil Green colour is as pictured. I use an Encore to grind my beans and I set it to 12 for lighter-medium roasts. (Appreciating that Encores aren't all calibrated the same way.)

I held out on buying one of these as I wanted to minimize my disposables. I've had a Hario Simply Hario Glass Coffee Maker for a few years now, which comes with a stainless steel filter. It's lovely once you figure out the right grind settings, but does let through more oils and fines (sediment). I find some coffees aren't well-suited to this those types of brewing methods and are better with paper filters. That's why I ended up purchasing this coffee maker as well.

Plastic free livin

As part of our mission to remove all plastics from the kitchen (especially when exposing to 92 degree water), we switched from the plastic v60 to this stylish teal ceramic v60 and it's great.

V60, but better

Great option for a classic V60 dripper. Ceramic is great and a nice change over plastic. Obviously you need to pre heat this a bit, but I found it wasn't that big of an impact to my morning workflow. Got the indigo blue colour which is just fantastic.

Classic & Functional, but Requires Attention!

The Hario V60 Ceramic Dripper is a fantastic choice for pourover enthusiasts. It’s not only functional but also beautifully designed with attractive colors that add a nice touch to any coffee setup. Cleaning is a breeze, making it a convenient option for daily use at home.
One thing to note is that this dripper requires a bit more attention compared to some other brewers.

Additionally, since it’s ceramic, it has a higher thermal mass than plastic drippers. This means it heats up more slowly and can absorb more heat from your brew, so preheating is essential for maintaining temperature stability...

Overall, if you’re willing to invest a little extra effort into your brewing process, the Hario V60 Ceramic Dripper is a great choice that delivers relatively good results.

Great and elegant dripper!

The Hario V60-02 is great - works very well and the filters provide a clean and clear coffee. I got it in Indigo Blue but I would imagine it would look good in most colors. If you're looking for a solid coffee dripper look no further.

Plastic v60s are better

these require pre heat and are much heavier than plastic also they retain heat so whenever i try to swirl my brew its too hot to touch.

Best pour over

Easy to make and clean

I actually prefer the plastic one

The less expensive plastic one is better in my opinion as this one scratches your cup when swirling your pour after blooming

Worth the investment.

Used my Eight Ounce points to redeem this ceramic dripper and I am SO glad I did. What a difference from plastic! The weight, the heat retention, the cleaning process. Unless you drop this on the floor, I can't see ever having to replace it. Worth the investment.
