Worth it

Like others have said, these ones are the best. As someone who hadn't even made the consideration when purchasing them (because the 100 pack was sold out), I noticed a difference in draw down time right away.

Best Hario Paper Filter there is. Faster than the others that come wrapped in plastic. Really love these filters!

Worth the price premium!

These are the original filters from the Hario factory in Japan, and are simply the best filters and the most consistent. Yes they are pricey, but I find the tabbed filters (100 pack) often stall my brews, but these filters let me grind much finer without stalling so they are overal much easier to work with.

If you price it out pre-tax, the price per filter is about $.19 compared with $.09 for the 100 pack, at 1 brew a day you are spending about $36 more, a year, if you buy these filters.

For me, spending a bit extra to prevent the stress of a stalled brew in a busy morning is well worth the price, but if you have the time and patience to dial in your brew on the tabbed filters and are ok with an occasional bad cup, might be worth just getting the 100 pack.

Those filters though

Straight up you think paper filters is paper filters. You'd be wrong. Dead wrong.
These filters got it all, without that overly papery taste you associate with bad filters.
They don't behave like the metal ones and have a consistent brew time.

What's that you don't drink coffee? Well then they are perfect for tiny baby hats too. Perfect for draining cheese as well, a little clunky but you could do it.
Strain your broth, do it, ARE YOU? I'll wait.

Anyway, I dig em, they are perfect for my V60 needs and make for satisfying cups of coffee.

The best filters

Yes, they are more expensive than the 100 units package in the plastic bag. But these are from the original factory in Japan, they are smoother, tab-less and the brew time they offer is a bit faster. To my feeling they are the best.

Hi Daniel! All of our filters come to us direct from the Hario factory in Japan. This is the original filter design, with no tab. The tighter weave filters with the tab come in the 100 pack, but are also made in Japan. Hope this helps, and thanks for the review!
