V60 carafe decanter large

Customers praised this glass server as "beautiful and functional" with "extremely durable" glass and excellent heat retention. Perfect for brewing multiple cups. Some noted handle ergonomics could be improved, with grip and rotation issues. The lid enhances heat retention effectively. Ideal companion to V60 drippers.

Attractive glass carafe

This is an attractive carafe which keeps coffee warm. I suggest the enclosed instruction sheet add English instructions. The carafe is for microwave use only for warming up the coffee.

GOAT Range Server

These are the best servers. Harios glass is extremely durable. Highly recommend these.

Poor egonomics

First look: hate the thing. It's a shame; it's a pretty piece of glass wear. But the ergonomics are terrible for me. I'm a man, 6', long in the arms, with medium hands and long fingers. The handle is thin in cross section and rounded in profile. The profile is too small for 4 fingers and too large for 3. The round profile rotates in my grip from the weight of the server (even without coffee in it), forcing me to grip the handle, but it's thin and slippery! I can resort to levering against my pinky below the handle, but that's hot!
I find this an odd finding; the rounded profile should cause the same problem in any hand, but there is no mention in any review. Had the handle profile been more rectangular, it would offer resistance to rotation. Or a compound curve; same result.
The lid fits nicely; the silicone gasket works well. Pour is OK, but I get some dripping. Hard to control the pour, though, per above comments regarding the handle.
I'll stick it out for a while, see how it goes, but so far it's nice to look it, not so nice to use.

Perfect size for party size brewing, but just need to grind the right size or else you gonna have to wait so long for a cup of coffee 🥲

Benchmark

Hario Servers are a benchmark vessels in general. Quality of this hand made glass server is top notch. The included glass cap greatly increases heat retention when making larger brews. Perfect.

Beautiful Server

This server is the perfect size for multiple cups and an impressive combination of aesthetics and durability. It is also a fantastic complement to the V60-03 glass dripper.

nice server

I bought this server to complement my V60. It's great for making a bigger coffee batch. It does keep the coffee fairly hot longer that I expected so that's a plus. I don't use the lid often but it's nice to have it.

The Ultimate Server

This server is not only visually stunning but super lightweight and (miraculously) durable! No brainer for anyone making coffee for more than one! I use it with my Hario Cold Dripper.

Range Server

Good quality glass, works well for a simple drip filter. Also good to use as an overflow pot for a counter coffee maker when more servings are needed.

Elegance + versatility

Beautiful and surprisingly light but sturdy vessel with a no-spill spout.

Classy addition to our kitchen!

This server has been great so far. It is quite delicate, but we have used it every day since we got it and haven’t had any issues! We use our Hario ceramic dripper with it.

In case you’re curious - the word “range” in Japanese refers to microwaves. So this being a “range server” likely means it can be safely microwaved to heat up your coffee again :)

Beautiful and classy

A wonderfully made piece of equipment. I assume it's fragile by holding but haven't seen any signs of cracking after 2 months of good use. Mostly it's beautiful and matches the classic hario honeycomb shape.

Perfect addition!

I recently purchased this range server with a V60 to add to my pour over collection. The sleek design and functionality of this product have made it a great addition and one I use often. It is excellent at retaining heat and the lid ensures an extra element of seal. Furthermore, I've been able to use this with my Saint Anthony Industry's P70 which fits perfect on the top of the range. This is a great product for those who want multiple servings of coffee in one brew, or as a substitute for a pour over stand!

Love it

I got a V60 02 cone recently and was buying a kettle, and tacked this onto my purchase kind of on a whim because I realized I didn't have much beyond mugs to brew coffee into. I got this 03 size juuust in case I decide to make a couple batches of coffee to serve a bunch of people and want it all in one server, but so far I've never brewed for more than 2 people at a time and would have been just fine with the 02 size. In any case, it's great looking, it feels sturdy, and it's easy to clean (though you'll need a relatively narrow brush or bottle cleaner unless you're satisfied with just rinsing the inside).

Thanks for your review, Erik! Those whim purchases sometimes turn out to be the best ones ;)
