A good workaround of gooseneck kettle but I will found drip assist more simple and effective alternative.

Excellent budget option for pour overs if you don't want to splurge on a full gooseneck kettle - I wish we had bought this sooner!

This kettle is great for travel and camping when you don't have access to your gooseneck on the road! It's a very easy to use, but for larger brews you may need to refill mid way.

If your work kettle doesn’t make pourovers easily, then this is the perfect solution for you. Just be warned your coworkers will be borrowing it constantly.

I wanted to try my hand at learning proper pour-over technique, but I already have a perfectly good electric kettle, just one that lacked a gooseneck spout. This drip kettle is a great alternative. The polycarbonate construction helps minimize heat transfer and the spout is well designed, allowing water to flow smoothly and precisely. Since it's not much bigger than a coffee mug, it stows away in a cupboard when not in use. For the price, it's incredible.

i was able to bring it with me on my trip in my basal coffee travel bag with my grinder stored inside. also works great at home in place of an expensive temp controlled gooseneck kettle

I am enjoying my new Hario air pour over "kettle". It took a few tries for me to achieve control over the flow because it is literaly as light as air. Great product, especially if you have wrist or hand problems!

If you don't have the budget for a electric pour over kettle this is a good option. Good control with flow and can use for travel!

All the control you need, in a light well made package. I do often have to refill mid brew, small price to pay for the portability, now I have a great kettle everywhere I go.

If you don't have a variable temperature kettle for whatever reason, this is an inexpensive work-around. Fill it up right off the boil and let it cool while you prep your coffee and filter. I use 2.5-3 minutes off boil, but you'll find the zone for your kit with a couple of tweaks. Try it.

Water doesn’t stay super hot, but that’s because it’s not a kettle, but more of a vessel. Meant I didn’t need to buy a second kettle though so worth it to me

Okay, maybe not that simple, but it's the perfect size for simple pour overs. Light, compact and easy to read. I actually use mine as a microwavable milk container with my nanofoamer, so once you get a better kettle you can count on it still having a use.

Perfect size and weight to take along for travel or hiking.

I’ve been using a plastic measuring cup and it’s been cracking because of the heat. But it’s almost like Hario read my mind. It’s perfect for on the go, camping, or just using it at home if your scale isn’t large enough to measure.

This is an excellent substitute if you're wanting a Gooseneck style on a budget, or if you've already got a (non gooseneck)kettle but still need the slow pour over.

I love the Air Kettle. It is the perfect size to use at home for pour overs of all kinds, or while on the road/camping as well. My collapsible travel drip system fits inside perfectly, which is a bonus.

The drip kettle is solid and super lightweight. The added control it provides is perfect for my application, but also the sound it creates due to the flow size, is ultra satisfying for some reason. An added bonus. I definitely recommend it, and will be looking to purchase more for family and friends.

Tad small but great if you want to try a more precise pour over without all the space taken up by a whole new kettle.

Great alternative if you're not looking to switch to an electric gooseneck kettle. It gives you the control of a gooseneck whilst using your current medium of heating water.

I was initially a bit worried about the size of the kettle, and I did have to top it up once, but I think the benefit of a better pour outweighs the small size. Definitely recommend if you're having trouble getting an even pour with a regular kettle.

I didn’t want to buy an electric goose neck because we already have a good non-gooseneck kettle. This is a great budget alternative. Good size for single servings.

I bought this because I was just starting out with brewing my coffee at home and I couldn’t order an actual pour-over kettle because they all seemed sold out where I live. Any way this seemed to be the best option to work with my regular kettle. It worked great and the only negative I have is that it is way too small. I would’ve loved it if It would’ve been a little bigger.
