    The KINTO FUTO Full Apron ALI is crafted from 100% linen, an exceptionally soft and lightweight fabric that drapes comfortably over the body. Simple in design and made for everyday life, it's a piece that offers resilient protection while cooking and cleaning, although you might forget you're wearing it.

    A Storied Material
    Every FUTO Apron ALI is crafted in Mumbai, India, a region famous for textile production and a bustling cultural hub, where you can wander through endless streets lined with colourful markets and shops.
    The linen is woven on a machine called air-jet loom, which produces a remarkably consistent quality. Skilled artisans wash the fabric to bring out its natural softness before precisely cutting and sewing it by hand, drawing upon years of experience. Instead of using an automated machine, the embroidery is done with a hand-operated machine that allows each pattern to be determined by the craftsperson.
    Because so much of the linen's production is carefully handled by real people, its embroidery varies subtly in shape and thickness, giving every piece its own unique character.

    Comfortable Cross-Back Design
    The cross-back design rests evenly across the shoulders and back, meaning you won't have to worry about strain on your neck even after hours of use.
    Also featuring adjustable straps with openings at 15 cm intervals to tuck away the access length, you can customize the fit and style to your comfort level. Perfect for all body types and for all-day wear.

    Practical Pockets
    The KINTO FUTO ALI Apron is designed with two front-facing pockets, one large and one small, to keep essentials like towels, notepads, and pens within easy reach.

    Destined for a lifetime of use, not the landfill, the KINTO FUTO Apron is embroidered with the FUTO logo to symbolize the slow, traditional process that is required for its making.

  • Care

    For best results, place in laundry net, gentle wash in water up to 40°C (104°F). Do not use bleach. Do not tumble dry. Hand dry in shade.

    If ironing, use a cloth and do not exceed a temperature of 160°C (320°F). Do not dry clean. Very gentle wet cleaning is possible. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or fluorescent lights may cause fading. Due to fabric nature, texture and size may slightly change after washing. Colour may fade or transfer due to water, sweat, or friction. Wash separately from other items. Do not soak for extended periods. May develop fuzz from friction. Colour or shade may vary depending on production period.
