The RIM collection from KINTO showcases a distinctive rim design with each plate. Due to the raised rim, the plates can be used to serve dishes with sauce or juice. Incorporating elements from both Japanese and European tableware, RIM will give you the perfect plate size for every meal and occasion.

Made in the Hasami region of Japan, the RIM collection brings to life the true spirit of the ceramic traditions of the area. The white plates have an elegant tint of blue, a characteristic of being made in the Hasami region. The earth grey plates have a gentle yet unique expression, made by utilizing clay containing iron powders which are normally considered impurities.

The RIM plate 160mm (6.5in) will elevate that side serving of spring greens salad or your famous four-cheese Mac and Cheese.

After use of metal utensils, grey marks may become noticeable on the surface of tableware. These are called metal marks, and they are caused by the friction between porcelain and metal. To remove them, we recommend using a soft cleanser such as Bar Keeper's Friend and gently rubbing with a wet cloth or sponge.
