In addition, the inside is electropolished to create a smooth surface, making it less likely to stain (think tea or coffee) and the surface of the cup is powder coated to make it less susceptible to scratches.

• For better heat retention, add a small amount of hot (cold) water and allow to preheat (precool) for 1-2 minutes before adding beverages. Cannot be used in microwaves or ovens. Do not place near fire. When using in a dishwasher, avoid storing the product in a way that will apply force to it and place it on top of the appliance. Keep out of reach of infants and young children. Do not drop or subject to strong impact as this may cause damage or water leakage. Due to its double structure, the drink inside may be hot even if the part you touch is not hot, so be careful not to get burned. Do not leave the container filled with contents for long periods of time as this may cause rust or the drink to spoil. To prevent rust on the stainless steel, remove dirt and moisture as soon as possible, dry thoroughly, and store away from other metals. Do not leave the container in water as this may cause rust or damage. Do not use cleansers or scrubbing pads when cleaning. Do not use chlorine bleach as this may cause rust. If rust-like spots appear on the inside of the container, add lukewarm water and about 10% citric acid, wait 2-3 hours, wash with a soft sponge and rinse thoroughly.
