LOTUS WATER Potassium

Great product that really helps dial in your coffee water.

We all know that water matters so much in brewing good coffee. However, the water recipes are extremely important. Lotus Water makes this simple with their online recipes enabled with these bottles of mineral. Because they're each packaged individually, it's much more affordable and definitely worth the investment. Lotus Water has significantly improved the quality of my coffee brewing. I strongly recommend their solution.

Works well to make sure the water I use for coffee doesn't calcify my espresso machine. Price wise per liter, ends up much more economical than other pre-made powder packets, for example.

Really does change the flavour of coffee based on what chemical composition is in the water. Definitely recommend this in conjunction with the other Lotus water drops. This and calcium are the most used for me.

I've tried recipes with just magnesium and calcium but my coffee tastes better to me with potassium and sodium.

I feel that adding a drop of Potassium to your brewed coffee adds a little more of balance to the cup if your tap water is low in TDS. However, It is much better if you make your water from scratch with all four drops and distilled water.

A convenient and effective tool to dial in water recipes. Good for both building a water profile or dose single brews.

Being able to buy each bottle separate is really nice if you find a recipe you enjoy.

Whether the tap water in your area is ideal or not, it's nice to have that extra bit of control over your brews. In a blind test between Lotus Water and tap water, the tap water brew seemed sour and flat by comparison. Personally, I prefer the results I'm getting with Lotus over Third Wave Water, but it is a pretty big cost up-front.
