The underside of the dosing funnel is magnetized, holding on strong to your portafilter throughout the grinding process. The LUCCA dosing funnel also aids in using a WDT tool, preventing grounds from falling over the sides of the portafilter basket.

Attach to your 58mm portafilter to assist with grinding and Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT).

This 58mm dosing funnel effectively reduces espresso spills during grinding transfer with an attractive stainless steel finish. Customers said it "looks good and works well" and is "perfect." However, magnet strength is a common concern, with many noting the magnets are weak and the funnel can be loose on portafilters, sometimes coming off during tamping.

Nice looking funnel, weak magnets however

I got this funnel because I wanted a decent one that was brushed steel or stainless. Trying to match my machine and what not... I got it for my low profile Normcore 58mm portafilter. Just for those of us out there that are doing the same, this dosing funnel will fit, it does look nice and it is functional, however, it is loose on the portafilter and when you tap the portafilter on the tamping matt, the funnel wants to come off. Just weak magnets as others have noted.
