The CONE is a V60 filter crafted by SIBARIST with FAST or B3 Specialty Coffee Filter technology, designed to enhance extraction performance with the Sibarist CONE filter design.

    Enhanced Brewing with FAST Technology
FAST CONE enables a faster, even, and continuous flow, delivering a clean and silky cup. Its advanced filter technology allows for new extraction possibilities and recipes that were previously limited.

Balanced and Clean Cups with B3 Technology
B3 CONE promotes uniform extraction, consistent turbulence, and full access to the coffee bed. Its rigidity minimizes contact with the dripper for a fast flow, while its thickness and low porosity enhance sweetness and clarity, preventing bypass.

SIBARIST is devoting the same care and attention to the filter that goes into obtaining an exceptional coffee. Paying attention to detail throughout the whole supply chain, from the origin of the raw material on estates and plantations to its local processing and manufacture in Barcelona, Spain. Reflecting the values and standards that characterize Specialty Coffee by focusing on quality above quantity. The whole process of making filters is reflected in the cup, in the form of possibilities, irregularities, aromas and flavours.

    • Compatible with conical drippers, like the HARIO V60
      • CONE S for small conical drippers (e.g., HARIO V60-01)
      • CONE M for standard conical drippers (e.g., HARIO V60-02

SIBARIST FAST & B3 Information Sheet

  • Use in your conical dripper for a clean brew and a quick cleanup.

Specialty coffee filters praised for "the fastest filter ever" with exceptional flow rate that produces clean, vibrant cups with clarity and sweetness. Customers said they enhance flavor extraction, retain body and oils, and are "a must" for expensive beans. However, some noted compatibility issues with certain drippers causing slow drawdowns, fragility during pre-wetting, and premium pricing.

Exceptional Brewing Performance

The incredibly fast and consistent flow rate lets me grind finer while still producing cups with outstanding clarity, sweetness, and balance. Every brew feels more expressive, and I’ve noticed flavors that were often muted with conventional paper filters. Although these filters are definitely a premium product, the improvement in cup quality makes them well worth it. If you’re passionate about pour-over coffee and enjoy fine-tuning your brews, these filters are an absolute joy to use.

Juicy Acidity.

Compared to paper filters like Cafec and Kono filters, I get a juicier acidity but less clarity in floral notes.

Precision Brewing with Lightning Speed — Just Know Your Method

This cone filter is truly a standout product for serious home brewers, offering an ultra-fast flow rate that allows for finer grinds and produces exceptionally clean, vibrant, and well-balanced cups. Thanks to its innovative design and premium materials, it enhances clarity and sweetness in your brews like few other filters can. However, this speed comes with a learning curve—it demands a good understanding of your brewing technique, as traditional recipes may lead to under-extraction if not adjusted. While the price is higher than most paper filters, the performance and flavor payoff make it a worthwhile investment for those who value precision and experimentation in their coffee routine.

Incredible Performance

The filters have given me both the best brewing experiences. Their superior flow rate is unmatched compared to other paper filters I’ve used over the past decade. This directly impacts the taste—cleaner, brighter cups that I’ve genuinely enjoyed every sip of. It’s clear that these filters can bring out the best in your coffee when everything goes right.

Pricey but worth it - Fast filter

The Sibarist Fast filters are definitely on the pricey side, but when investing in high-quality specialty coffee, you'd arguable lose more money by NOT using these filters, and thereby relinquishing some non-trivial portion of your coffee investment to subpar extraction. Compared to the standard Hario filters - or, frankly, almost any other type of filter - you will extract significantly more flavour into the cup. Think vibrancy, acidity and florality. This is true even at the same grind size - contrary to popular belief, you do NOT need to grind finer in order to exploit the fast-flow properties of the Sibarist filter, and in fact it may be counterproductive to do so, as a greater proportion of fines will migrate through the filter compared to a typical paper.

Incredible Performance, But Frustratingly Fragile

The Sibarist B3 cone filters have given me both the best and the worst brewing experiences. On the positive side, their superior flow rate is unmatched compared to other paper filters I’ve used over the past decade. This directly impacts the taste—cleaner, brighter cups that I’ve genuinely enjoyed every sip of. It’s clear that these filters can bring out the best in your coffee when everything goes right.

However, the downside is hard to ignore. The fragility of the filters during pre-wetting is a serious issue. On multiple occasions, the filters fell apart while wetting in the dripper, leaving holes at the bottom and forcing me to toss them—three in one session alone. Given the premium price, this kind of waste is frustrating and disappointing, especially for experienced brewers who know how to handle filters properly.

In summary, the brewing quality is top-tier, but the build quality and durability need improvement. If Sibarist can fix this issue, these could easily be the best filters on the market.

Great filters

Great filters, and really fun for experimenting - have tried grinding finer, and brews have been consistent and sweet.

Interesting brew

Tried sibarist fast flow filters for the first time and was able to grind much finer than the usual v60 from cafec or hario. Result was a much more smoother brew with more intense flavours. Tried with the amazing coco bongo coffee from DAK and it made all the flavour notes really shine! Worth the try , got the sample of 25 filters and will use it occasionally.

Expensive but worth it

I've used various filters, but now I'm sticking with the Sibarist. The fast flow allows me to grind finer for light roasts and have more room to experiment to make the best cup of coffee for the day. Great filter.

A step up for filter coffee

By switching to the Sibarist filters from the standard Hario filters (V60-02), I've been able to grind finer than I was previously able to and getting a sweeter cup as a result. They're pricey but for me they're worth it, and will likely continue to be my standard filter in the future.

A bit costly but worth it for nice beans

For me it's a bit much for everyday use but occasionally with nice beans I would always turn to these to really bring the flavour out

Great filters

As noted many times before, these are very quick draw down filters, and definitely allows a fine grind used than the standard Hario V60 filters. A bit pricey but worth it for non daily drinking beans.
