    The hand-built Technivorm Moccamaster line of coffee brewers are quite simply a superior product and are considered by many coffee experts to be the best home coffee brewers on the planet. Each unit is hand-built and tested by ethically treated, well paid and knowledgeable professionals in The Netherlands, meeting the very highest quality standards. The water is heated to the proper temperature 92 – 94 degrees Celsius (198 - 204˚F) and keeps it consistent through the whole brew cycle, ensuring proper flavour extraction from coffee grounds. A switch automatically stops the Moccamaster from brewing if the Carafe isn't in place, ensuring the coffee doesn't spill. The larger capacity of the CDT Grand allows you to brew up to 1.8 litres in just 8 minutes.

Very happy with the quality of our cup of coffee using this machine

Very happy with the quality of our cup of coffee using this machine.
We use the same grind and ratio as our previous high end coffee maker and are pleased with the great tasting coffee we have become accustomed to.
Process is quicker and the carafe keeps the coffee hotter longer.
Quality coffee maker without any doubt, highly recommended

Fantastic Machine, Even Better Coffee

We’ve had our eye on this machine for a while but hesitated due to the price. I’m glad we finally pulled the trigger - it has seriously upgraded our morning coffee experience. The coffee tastes much smoother, and richer, and the large thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm and fresh for quite a while. The one drawback is its height. It’s just a little too tall to fit under a cabinet. Delivery time was exceptional - I ordered this thing in the evening and it arrived the next day.

the Peak water jug arrived at the same time and together they've changed my coffee more than I thought possible. How?! The design is so basic, there are no "added features", it just drops dollops of hot water on a perforated lid and BAM: GREAT coffee!
