TIMEMORE Black Mirror Mini Coffee Scale

Timemore is a time-honoured brand for espresso lovers so I was delighted to find the mini coffee scale at Love My Coffee and on sale. The mini works well with my Gaggia Classic Pro and has the time, weight and flo features that can also be used for pour-over coffee. Highly recommended.

This sleek little scale fits easily under my machine. Super accurate. Very user friendly. The weight does jump around a little if I pull to hard on the lever and move the machine but it settles down quickly. Great buy for the price.

Very sensitive and works perfectly for an espresso workflow.

My second unit. I have one at home and one at my office. I like the size and the functionality. The battery drain is faster than I would have thought, but not a big deal.

Overall gets the job done and I would recommend.

Fits absolutely perfectly on the drip tray of my Dual Boiler. Extremely pleasing to have it flush. 10/10 across the board.

Excellent fully featured scale- battery last forever, and has been solid for a few years now - my only very minor annoyance is that when doing a timed auto start/stop pourover , if you jostle the brew vessel to distribute the ground coffee mid brew, it can think the brew has ended and stops the timer - if you dont immediately restart it, you can lose the total weight as it resets to zero - but once you know its sensitive you get in the habit of keeping an eye out for it

Have had various scales throughout the years but none as small and feature packed as this. I especially appreciate the Espresso Mode which not only weighs your shot but times it as well. So impressed with the build quality as well.

Only have a week or so of use on this. I really like it for espresso, the autotaring and timers are awesome. Flowrate is a bit of a helpful indicator for dialing too. It’s a bit annoying to switch between auto espresso mode and normal mode, so weighing beans is a challenge. My cheap dumb scale is good for that, and this stays on the machine.

This scale is compact, attractive, and functional. Measures decigrams and flow rate in a small and travel-friendly package.
Will mainly use for pourover and such, but neat that it works for espresso in case I go down that road.

I'm not a coffee nerd. All I want is to drink an occasional good cappuccino without having to give up an acre of kitchen counter space. So I bought a Breville Bambino Plus and a DF54 grinder : great sizing and fine results. This Timemore Mini is the perfect size to fit the Bambino tray and it works well. Nuff said.

This is a simple no thrills small scale that does the job. I like the size of it and so far it has been reliable. Is it as good as the 2.5 times more expensive Fellow scale? No. But it will do the job just fine. Also, if you are into checking flow (I don't actually), it is a nice add on.

Tough to switch between modes, battery life is a little short, otherwise this is a big improvement over the Black Mirror Basic. Really enjoy for both pourover and espresso.

This scale is a great fit for the Lelit Elizabeth. The espresso function is super handy, and the pour-over mode is really useful too.

The design is really well thought out. The silicone top flips over to hold the portafilter while you add the ground beans, and it protects the scale from spills (the grooves carry liquids away from the ports and buttons).

The only minor annoyance is that it takes 5 touches of a button to cycle through each mode.

You can use it for espresso and filter - that’s pretty incredible for the price.

My hario scale died so I was searching for an upgrade.
This scale is a perfect fit for my multi brew household and fits much nicer under my espresso machine when pulling shots.
I find the beep to be fairly annoying, thankfully you can disable it.
If you are on the fence, it's a really great unit!

I have had this scale for several months now and very happy I pulled the trigger and bought it. I was a bit apprehensive given the Nano's loud beeping sound, but I feel that Timemore must of listened to the feedback and changed the pitch on the Mini. It can be finicky sometimes when switching between modes, but after several uses you get the hang of it. Battery time has also been great.

Works amazing, super easy to use. I use it everyday and feel it has made my coffee that much better!

Great size - big enough for pourover but small enough for an espresso scale. Weight measurement is quite sensitive but scale overall seems well built.
Been using it for approx 3 months and its been great, I'd recommend.

Worth the extra $10 over the Black Mirror Basic 2, considering the size and portability.
