A 58mm, 150 micron mesh, 2mm thick Stainless 316 Puck Screen. Use it to keep your dispersion screen clean, or to reduce puck top erosion that can lead to channeling. Or just to reduce above-puck clearance when fine tuning your dosage. A simple, versatile tool that has quickly been adopted by forefront espresso connoisseurs worldwide.

Puck screens have developed a big following the past few years, and for good reason. They can help to buffer higher velocity water coming out of a group head dispersion screen, which has a tendency to erode the top of a puck and potentially induce channeling. They are great at acting as a sacrificial layer to keep your dispersion screen cleaner.

    • Stainless 316 marine grade 150um mesh
    • Fused together at 2.0mm thick
  • Use on top of your espresso puck to improve extraction.

Sturdy, thick puck screen that "makes a noticeable difference in the taste of each shot" and improves extraction consistency. Customers said it keeps group heads cleaner and creates drier pucks. Premium quality build, though some find it adds workflow complexity and question if it's worth the price premium over basic alternatives.

Makes a difference!

satisfyingly sturdy & robust, and does the job it's supposed to! my pucks knock out a lot better and there's much more consistency when using this puck screen.

A thicker and therefore more diffused screen

A thicker and therefore more diffused screen. Slightly more work to clean than a thinner, single perforation, screen but not too much. Much more rigid than thinner screens and seemingly more durable. It DOES make a noticeable difference in the taste of each shot pulled.

I’ve been using the Weber Workshops Puck Screen for about a week, and it’s been a great to use. The build quality is solid, and it helps keep my group head clean. The thick build makes cleanup easy, as it prevents ground coffee from getting stuck through the screen.

Recommended!

I'm new to the world of espresso and the Weber Workshops puck screen is my first one. It is thicker than expected (in a good way), appears to give an even extraction, and keeps everything just a bit tidier. I haven't had any issues cleaning it. One thing to mention is that it is not magnetic, but I just fish it out of the knock box. I don't find that it disrupts my workflow at all. Would recommend if you like the brand!

Makes a huge difference

Obviously everyone's espresso experience is different - so many factors ranging from the machine to the water. For me, with my KPES100M, this makes a huge difference. It made my shot times way more consistent.

Can't go wrong

Great all around puck screen. Nice Weber branding and logo.

Now, is this better than other similar puck screens? Hard to tell. Is it worth the premium price on quality alone? Debatable.

Would recommend if you are a fan of Weber and what they represent. Otherwise regular basic ones will do just fine. But I definitely recommend a puck screen as a whole.

Was skeptical but it really makes a difference

Espresso accessories can often get out of hand with people posting their routine online you wonder if all of this is necessary and makes a difference. I was very skeptical about this product but decided to give it a go.

Extraction is noticeably more even with a bottomless portafilter. The puck is dryer and it everything comes out clean. Can I taste the difference? Yes. Is it an absolute must to get? No but it you can afford one it’s worth it.

It probably worth the price but not for me

Not going to give a lower rating just because I realized puckscreen creates more problem in my work flow than it solves. The quality seems to be superior with solid thick build. So I'm giving it a high rating.

Keeping it fresh!

Main purpose I use these is for keeping my machine cleaner. I recommend preheating them in the cup you're preheating especially if you have multiple for faster follow up shots.

Good concept- but wouldn’t buy again

I like the idea of keeping the group head clean. But I feel that it impacts my flow, and a bit tedious when hitting out the puck after.

Great puck screen

Makes the grouphead all clean!

Prevents grounds from getting in to the shower head.

It was thicker than the current one I had, however it works great with my Lelit machine and I found I am kind of using it more often than the thin one. Compared without using it, puck screen did keep the e61 group head cleaner and there was much less residual powder.

Puck-o Screen-o

Purchased this screen in order to incorporate into my prep due to channeling. The screen helped even out flow during extraction and makes a difference.
Purchasing it in store was a very good experience, and the staff were very helpful.

Standard, good quality, "thick" puck screen

Similar to other options (e.g., Flair) does the job well and fits standard (and fancy) 58mm baskets.

Well made puck screen

Picked this up to try, ended up liking it a lot. Not sure how much it helps the shot, but I do find it really helps keep the group head clean. As everything Weber is, premium priced, premium quality.

What can I say... it's a metal puck

Solid metal puck. Should keep my group head cleaner! Excellent service from eight ounce!

Nice Accessory

Not sure if it helps with my shot, but I like the easy cleanup afterwards. I am happy that I bought it. The quality of the puck screen is good.

Not very useful

It does indeed make a difference, but wouldn't say it's needed.
