Great Grinder

I seen a review online that said this had almost the same profile as the df64 (which I was looking at) but less potential to change out the burrs as the 54mm burrs aren't as popular. I pulled the trigger on this as a damaged box as the price was too good to pass up and I wouldn't be changing the burrs. After using it and trying different styles of coffee in it, such as espresso, pour over, french press and perculator I can say I'm extremely impressed at the consistency and taste for the value. Eight ounce coffee has been incredible to work with and this grinder is a no brainer for anyone looking to upgrade but has a tight budget

Incredible Value

The DF54 is the best multipurpose grinder under $500 in my opinion. It makes great espresso AND filter, it has very low retention, and it's easy to switch between methods. For the price, it's an easy 5/5.
