    To extend product lifespan, natural woody fibers are combined with a 100% food-grade melamine binder. This eco-friendly material is not unbreakable. It will not shatter like ceramic or glass but if dropped or knocked on a hard surface, at a bad angle it may break. This eco-composite is made with natural elements; therefore, slight colour imperfections or inconsistencies may occur.

Disappointed

I wanted to love these containers and purchased two of them for my kids to use in their school lunch bags. I realized upon receiving them, however, that they are difficult to use (especially for kids) because the lids do not fit on properly. The lid never seems to align properly with the container and always moves even further out of place when you try to put the elastic around it. I also find that the insert for separating the container into two does not fit well and falls out of its little notches very easily. The only thing that I really like about these containers is the colour.
