Note: The Glaze used on Monty Cups gives the Matte Black cup a glossy finish and they are not a flat black.

An attractive, eye-catching addition to my espresso machine

The copper base is a nice design element, contrasted against the matte white finish of the mug. The ceramic almost feels soft to the touch, and while it's surprisingly light weight when lifting, it doesn't feel like the mug is unstable or easy to tip over. Since it's taller than it is wide, it means that you've got less surface area to pour latte art, but on the plus side you've got increased thermal retention. That being said, you shouldn't be nursing a cortado, anyway!
