HARIO Syphon Paper Filters and Filter Holder

It's a bit difficult to use as the chain is too short. Also it's difficult to clean and if making a second cup it's too hot to handle. I'm going to stick with the cloth filter.

I bought this to replace the plastic filter i had on an automatic bodum siphon machine. Initial i had the hario cloth filter but did not like having to wash the cloth all the time plus the old coffee smell. This paper filter is much better, very clean cup and coffee. metal parts and spring all nice and heavy so they seem durable.

Well made little device, and the results are excellent.

Love this. Makes the syphon more approachable on a daily basis compared to when using the cloth filter. The paper filters make the cleaning so much easier and no need to disinfect the cloth filter anymore

I drink a fair bit of coffee, 4-6 cups a day sometimes. My cloth filter went moldy within a month cos it wasn't able to fully dry most days. This paper filter assembly is way better for regular use; I don't notice much of a difference in flavour between paper and cloth filters. If you're using your syphon more than a few times a week this is a worthy add-on to the syphon.

The process of cleaning cloth filters was a bit of a process, so the paper filters are nice for days when I'm just not feeling it. Good value for sure!

This filter is so much easier to use than the cloth filter. The only difference I find is that the paper filter seems to retain more of the brewed coffee than the cloth filter does, so I need to add a bit more water to get the same taste.

I bought a Hario Syphon NXA-5 which actually came with cloth and metal filter. I like it, as other posts have said - easier to clean than the cloth filter and it's interesting to compare the variations in tastes between all three filters with the same coffee.

Paper filter is way easier for clean up than the fabric filter the Siphon came with. After brewing I just throw away the filter along with the grinds and the metal holder just needs a rinse. I don't have to worry about the filter growing mold if not stored properly. Especially if it's not used for a long time. Not sure if it was just mine but the bead string is a little short compared to the spring with the siphon. I have a slight trouble grabbing it through the top piece of the Siphon to secure it in place. Other than that it's great!

It works well! Easy to clean. I like this over the cloth one! I would recommend this product.

I recommend using these or the cloth if you are using the traditional candle wick as your burner!

This item works great. I prefer paper filters, so this purchase was worth it !
