    Replacement stainless steel M2 burr set for Baratza Virtuoso+ grinders. Also works as an upgrade for newer model Encore grinders. Comes with an M2 threaded cone burr (standard on the Virtuoso+), an outer ring burr and a plastic burr holder.

    This burr set is only good for the Virtuoso 586 & 587 with the M2 burr. If you have a Virtuoso 585 (purchased prior to 2012), you will need to upgrade your grinder using the GB 2.0 Rebuild Kit before you can switch to the new burr set design.

Much needed upgrade for my encore

burrs were getting pretty dull from poor maintenance
these worked great and were super easy to install

Amazing upgrade for my encore

Very easy to install on my encore with the baratza video. I noticed the grinder has a somewhat easier time grinding lighter roasts at a finer grind for drip that I prefer with better consistency. Other than that I haven’t tested it much but that’s all I was trying to achieve.

new life and upgrade for our Encore

I didn't think our burrs were worn on our Encore based on my visual inspection .... turns out they were. These were a fairly straightforward swapout for the stock ones to upgrade our encore. All the Encores come with the GB2 gearbox so can use the M2 burr set instead of the stock M3. It's a good opportunity to give your grinder a thorough cleaning while it's apart. The trickiest part of the installation is releasing the cover from the base.
Check out Baratza's website for helpful videos for the teardown and installation. Similar to other users - huge improvement in speed and slightly quieter while grinding.
