TIMEMORE Sculptor 064S All-Purpose Grinder (120V)

I've only had it for a week but so far it's been amazing. Really consistent and easy to dial. Build quality feels premium and I love the attention to detail. I haven't had any issues with beans getting stuck in the hopper as some reviews suggested. Not sure if this has been addressed or if I'm just lucky.

This is the best grinder that I have ever owned and I had quite a few including two Eureka Mignons. Very easy to dial in, maintain and dissemble and the results are spectacular.

My only complaint is the popcorn effect, which can only be remedied by slow feeding beans.

Turns out all you need is a new grinder. Thought I needed a new espresso machine but this grinder fixed all my issues that came from the built in breville grinder. Grinds unbelievably fine and yet also has great range for other brew methods. Low retention and quiet operation. The small form factor makes it great to sit next to my machine. Of course it’s not the fastest grinder but that’s never been a real concern to me.

Beautiful machine and this fundamentally improved the quality of my espresso…No going back!! It is a solid and simple workhorse. This is my first single dose grinder and an upgrade from my last (Smeg, hopper).

What I like: grind quality is superb, functional and practical design, solid and quality build, simple features, small footprint, grind noise is pleasant and quiet, easy to use and handle (large on/off button, easy lid access, simple speed adjustment, large grind adjust wheel, easy to read the settings), grind setting doesn’t wander, no beans missed in the hopper, magnetic cup sits securely on the base, functional and easy to use knocker, very little (if any) retention of grinds, and the hopper lid sits securely with two sets of magnets (closed or half open). I really appreciate how the designers put thought into this machine, which is a diversion from the more traditional models.

I miss dispensing directly to my portafilter, but can manage using the cup provided, especially with the quality results (the 078 model has that option). Needed to purchase a dosing funnel to help transfer the grinds, otherwise end up spilling some of the grinds. Also needed a measuring scoop to get the proper amount of beans for each serving.

Haven’t attempted a coarser grind yet (French Press) and may purchase the larger optional hopper for that. Espresso is my main use, but also wanted the option to do the French Press on occasion.

As it is a new purchase, I can’t comment on the longer term aspects and customer support, but it appears that replacing the burs, once worn, is not difficult.

This may well be the best investment in my coffee journey. The machine runs smoothly, and is quiet. The grind that comes is totally suitable for both espresso and pour over. Switching between grinds is a cinch.

Been using this for medium and dark roast espresso (between grind setting 3 and 4) and it's done a great job. Minimal retention and not particularly loud.

A good grinder with two problems. One is the hopper is not steep enough and beans get stuck in it. The second problem is the location of the dial number to the red dial marker. The marker is a quarter of an inch from the dial and makes it hard to repeat a dial in of a bean.

Such a good grinder. It really leveled up my coffee :D Extremely happy with the purchase.

Low retention and pretty clean - can’t really fault it. It just takes seasoning.

Grinder works great as my daily go to for both espresso and pour over. Extremely easy to use out of box and was well calibrated.

Had this for a week already and played with a few grind settings, and it performed well in call scenarios so far. Without any RDT, it did make quite a mess with all the static, but after some RDT, there wasn't any issues. This machine is a lot quieter than I expected as well.

Well designed and, most importantly, makes good coffee!

I was really excited about this grinder and it worked great for 1.5 weeks and then broke out of no where. Now have to send it back

Variable 64mm grinder which has a great workflow and doesn't stall vs the DF64V, it's probably the best pick in the mid range varibale grinder.

It's been a week with this grinder but I've been amazed how easy it's been to dial in my espresso and pour overs.
30 second grinds at espresso settings is a joy. The knocker works great but be sure to use it 3-4 times to get all the loose grounds to avoid a bit of a mess.
The most underrated feature is the ability to change the RPMs of the motor depending on the roast of your beans to prevent any stalls of the grinder. Tldr: Lighter the roast, the higher the RPMs.

Quite happy. One month. Hasn’t broke yet. Quite like its espresso and a filter is maayyybe okay. Cleaning is difficult and messy. I had a DF64 before, that broke on me on the first week, and two more times during this year. And a filter coffee was yak.

You’re not going to get much better than this at the price point. Super easy to dial in, and has great range for espresso and pour over.

Unfortunate it comes unseasoned, but after seasoning it's been a joy to use.

The Sculptor has as infinite variable grind control on the front, perfect for dialing in for espresso, especially when switching brands of beans, also has an auto shutoff after the grind, the Sculptor grinds very fast, even on lower settings for espresso

A few weeks in, this has been a fantastic grinder. I ran a Baratza Sette 270 for espresso for many years, and while it did the trick, the Timemore seems to be better in every way that matters to me:

- super consistent grind and easy to adjust/bounce between beans and styles
- quiet!
- can get great results with both espresso and pour over
- really beautiful design
- small footprint

This is a serious upgrade over the 270 at a reasonable price. I love it.

A significant upgrade & improvement over the Baratza Encore for home espresso. Coupled with a bottomless portafilter to see what's going on, the espresso has gotten a lot more flavourful. Highly recommend this unit!
