Tasting Notes: Blood orange, Apricot, Cherry

In the cup you will get a bright, sweet and delicate Chiroso. The sweetness of cherry and apricots and yellow plums, reminds of the colours yellow and red. You will get a balanced citric acidity that reminds of blood orange, and a lemon tea like finish. This coffee has a light body and a clean finish. Finca La Casita, managed by second-generation coffee grower David Berrio in Urrao, Antioquía, Colombia, spans 1.5 hectares at 2,100 masl, growing the prized Chiroso variety with over 5,000 trees. The challenging processing involves transporting coffee by horse and car to a distant wet-mill, followed by a 5-day fermentation and an 8-12 day drying period in a traditional Colombian dryer.

Second time ordering September coffee and this one makes a nice clean cup of coffee. Nicely balanced, not too acidic or fruity.
