Black & White - Lica Torres
COF-BL-0024Lica Torres, a producer from Brunca, Costa Rica, has successfully cultivated the hybrid Milenio and Gesha varieties on his family farm, located at 1500-1800 masl near Chirripo Volcano. This Gesha undergoes a meticulous anaerobic fermentation process, starting with 24 hours in sealed bags, followed by 100 hours in tanks with mosto, before a slow drying on raised beds and patios. The resulting cup offers delicate floral notes of magnolia, balanced with bold fruit flavors like dried mango and red grapes, and a syrupy sweetness akin to maple.
